The promoters of Dcosta are third generation entrepreneurs who have been in the fabrics trade dealing in various types of fabrics as wholesalers. Their deep knowledge of the industry and established distribution network has helped them grow the business at a very swift pace. Our company has not only been relying on the strengths of the brands we sell but also on our responsive and quick customer service. We have warehouse of 36000 Sq. Ft. capacity for our network. We have been always responsive of customer requirements and have tried to provide value to each customer interaction, more than what our competition has and this has helped us carve a niche in this competitive market in a very small time.
We are also associated with GM Syntex which is also a leading manufacturer of Curtain and Upholstery fabrics. We work with their domestic and export surplus fabrics and have a wide network all over India.
The last thirteen years bear testament to the strength of our commitment. From 1999 to 2014, D’Decor has attained exponential growth with our turnover having increased from $8 million to $250 million.
D’Decor exports home fabrics to 65 countries worldwide. Our products are designed by top-class in-house and Italian designers, and are also being used by top designers and furniture-makers in both Europe & USA. Our customers include some of the largest and leading global brands. At D’Decor, we have copyright ownership over more than 10,000 designs. We participate in the 5 biggest international trade fairs annually – Moods, Heimtex, Intertex Shanghai Show, Proposte and Evteks.
D’Decor’s 4 state-of-the-art manufacturing plants are situated at Tarapur, near Mumbai. The output at our plants exceeds a 120,000 metres a day,helping to make more than 2000 beautiful homes a day.
At any given point of time, D’Decor’s supply chain is capable of delivering more than 200,000 SKUs. These are chosen from a large spectrum of products comprising furnishing fabric, embroidered fabric, yarn, ready-mades, velvets and wallpapers.
As a company, D’Decor has accomplished many firsts in the Indian furnishing fabric business. We were the first to introduce water-repellent fabric, flame-retardant fabrics and also to have the first robotic warehouse in India.
Since 1971, Textiles has been an integral part of our family with our initial focus being exclusively on production and designing of women’s apparel. What began as an upscale women’s wear line, gradually expanded into a home textile brand – GM Syntexin 1999. Today we manufacture, design, supply and export a massive variety of premium home décor fabrics to different parts of the world.
